However, not all day cares get state subsidies to help fund their child care program. This means they need to find additional ways to raise money for daycare art supplies, toys, games and snacks.

So what can you do?

Its time to bring in the experts. Joe from Fundraising Zone, has been helping kids raise money with fundraiser ideas for decades.

So why do daycares need to raise money?

Joe  tells us, “Every daycare center has their own unique reason to have a fundraiser. For instance, maybe they need new playground equipment or want to buy more books for the library. Additionally, others need money to pay for new chairs, benches or tables. Finally, some childcare centers want money to pay for a special activities, trips and holiday parties.”

Secondly, we ship them to them for free. Thirdly, we support them every step of the way so they successfully reach their fundraising goal.”

What happens next?

Joe continues, “All you have to do is show with the brochure to your friends and family. If they like what they see they will buy it from you. It is simple as that.”

Finally, we have had daycares that have earned anywhere form a few hundred to a few thousand of dollars. Of course it depends on the individual child care center and how hard they work.”

How daycare can help your child succeed in life

First of all, if you live in Northern Iowa you may qualify for preschool financial assistance to help your family.

Secondly, here are four benefits of daycare and preschool for your children. Don’t discount these. Each of them can give your child a head start advantage in life

#1: Help your local daycare raise money in your community

Why should you consider some of these daycare fundraiser ideas. Joe Wolpin of Fundraising Zone, tells us that even young children can learn valuable skills from  He shares, “It helps them to see the benefit of helping a cause and making a difference in their community. Fundraisers build leadership skills and teach children how to set goals and reach them too. Furthermore, it introduces children to the joys of civic responsibility which all of our communities rely on.”

#2: Get your child used to a regular schedule

Many children only think about playing or watching TV. While this is normal for toddlers it doesn’t help your child prepare for a regular school routine. Preschool and daycare can help them get used to a regular schedule. For instance they have to be at preschool at a certain time everyday. Furthermore there will be a structured time for eating, playing and taking a nap too.

#3: Help your child learn how to work with teachers

The first day of kindergarten can be very traumatic for some children. Some kids have never been left by their mother before. A good daycare center can help your children prepare for kindergarten this way. When children learn to cooperate with teachers and class aids at an early age it will help them to flourish once they hit public school. It will be easier for them to ask questions and for help when they need it.

Many daycare centers and childcare centers are non-profit and run on a shoe string budget. Because of state budget funds being cut for many early child educational programs, daycares are forced to raise money to help make up the difference.

#4: Help your child learn to get along with others

Some kids are an only child. They may not have learned to play or share with other children yet. This can pose a serious handicap later on in life. The sooner they learn how to socially interact with others the better. Furthermore, children that learn how to play together nicely at early age may find it easier to get along with others as an adult.

If you are thinking about putting your children in preschool or daycare then think about the advantages to your child. It most certainly helps prepare them for kindergarten and beyond in their life.

Empowering Children By Using Affirmations

Psychology tells us our subconscious thoughts were formed between ages 5-7. They are the misconceptions children have as a result of their parents programming.

That is where we get the beliefs:

  • I’m bad.
  • There is something wrong with me.
  • I am not good enough.
  • I am inadequate.

What can we do about it?

Lets program our kids minds with good empowering beliefs to offset the dis empowering ones! Watch this video to get some ideas for how easy and fun this can be.
